When my husband and I met Dr. Beck he gave us the impression that he would give me an honest and solid evaluation. During the 2 and half hours that I spent with him, I felt at ease and I tried to be as up front about my Concussion and tried to be as honest as possible during my examination. He gave off the impression that I could trust him. When I got back my test results and a read the report about my test results, I was deeply disappointed in his evaluation. His report was full of holes, he contradicted himself through out the report and even aired that I never had a TBI in the first place. He wrote me off as a liar, dependent on other people, frail, and having beginning stages of Dementia. He reported that I had faked my health issues and was trying to stay off work. He reported that I was a drug addict, heard voices, and even said I had kidney and heart disease. It appeared from his report that he had cut and pasted most of my test results from some other patient’s evaluation. When my husband and I first met him prior to the exam, he told us to get a Worker Comp Lawyer, during the testing, he told me that I was highly intelligent and that my scores may not reflect that in the report. I cannot tell you how depressed and discouraged I was when reading his report. He totally had me fooled into believing he was an honest and upfront doctor. Now, with the Dementia findings he put into my report, also claiming I had brain apathy, I am in search of a second opinion. Don’t be fooled by this individual! He only wants to line his pockets by working for Worker Comp insurance. He cannot be trusted and his reports are made up of several other people’s reports. I urge anyone who has seen Dr Beck to seek a second opinion.
