Reflexology is based on the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all organs, glands and systems of the body. A compressive massage is used on these areas to stimulate the movement of energy to the nerve supply and to increase circulation. This carries oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and carries wastes away. Improved circulation can result in decreased muscle tension and soreness, and reduced swelling from injuries and illness. Immune function, skin tone and ability to concentrate may also improve.

The use of pure essential oils in treatment aids in oxygenating, hydrating and detoxifying the body. Essential oils are balancing in their effects, helping the body to return to homeostasis representing health and well being. Combined with Reflexology the oils are first inhaled, having a subtle effect on the mind, thus the body itself. Secondly, essential oils are easily absorbed through the skin and then into the blood stream, therefore working from within and will further enhance the physical, emotional and spiritual effects.
