We are Norris Payne, M.D., and Margaret Payne, M.D., seasoned pediatricians, husband and wife team, who come to you from the Texas Medical Center in downtown Houston. We are now so honored and happy to join Piedmont Healthcare and bring our own style of quality pediatric care to the children, families, and communities of the southern crescent. Having practiced and taught out of two renowned medical schools and two acclaimed childrens hospitals for many years, we are academically oriented physicians, practicing cutting edge, state of the art pediatric medicine to provide the best medical care available to infants, children and adolescents. But medicine is not just a science, it is also an art. We know that healing comes not only from medical science expertise, but just as importantly, from taking the time to get to know each patient and their families, to listen carefully to each concern, and to lovingly care for our patients as we would our own family. Our mission is to provide full time, comprehensive pediatric health care in a warm, comfortable environment where each family can feel safe and secure. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice. I love my daughter's new pediatrician.
