Lydia Reichner RN has been practicing massage for over 20 years, the last 5 in the Medford, NJ area.
Her background as an RN makes her uniquely capable of understanding and addressing particular problem areas the client might have. Her education and experience contribute to her comfort with other health care providers and she will consult with them as deemed necessary by the client... be they doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, nutritionists or counselors.
Ms. Reichner provides massage therapy that is tailored to the individual and any presenting problems. Each session is geared toward the individual at that time. Most often, a combination of techniques is used to lead to optimal benefits for the client.
A full hour of massage follows an initial interview or update, so prospective clients should allow 1 1/2 to 2 hours for the appointment. Hours are by appointment. All massages are the same price.
The major techniques Ms. Reichner uses are Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Sports Massage and Polarity. As Ms. Reichner attends workshops on a regular basis, the list of techniques is always expanding.
Ms. Reichner was fortunate enough to work with the AMTA National Sports Massage Team at the 1987 Pan American Games and 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. Presently, she is involved with the NJ AMTA Sports Massage Team and can often be seen at New Jersey events.
