About
Dan Rubin, PsyD
Therapy is an opportunity to solve problems, to overcome difficulties you might face in your relationships, career, or emotions. Therapy is a specific relationship that is focused on making the healthy changes you want and need to make. As a psychologist, I teach skills and offer this unique relationship that empowers you to be present, confident, resourceful, and kind. You don't have to be stuck, overwhelmed, or feel disconnected from your life. Therapy can help.
My approach to therapy is based on the concept and practice of mindfulness. Mindfulness reveals how wellness is our natural state of being, and that everyone has the potential to reclaim and rediscover their basic wellness. Positive change and a more satisfying life is possible because wellness is always available.
I work with children (ages 4-17), couples, and adults. I treat depression, anxiety, panic attacks, chronic pain, relationship problems, anger, trauma, chronic stress, ADD/ADHD, and issues related to medical conditions, disability, parenting, career goals, spirituality, and life transitions. Call me for a free 15 minute phone consultation.
