Gerald believes that it is important to first understand the motivation and goals of his clients. For example to lose weight, strengthen the muscles or prepare for sports activities. Then through safe instruction Gerald guides the clients toward the results they are looking for. His clients will progress by learning the proper exercises, form and techniques to establish good habits and maintain these goals.
Gerald says that many Seniors do not realize that they lose muscle mass and flexibility as they age. This is why he recommends strength conditioning and stretching for those "Baby Boomers". Countless studies have shown that proper exercise decreases the risk of stroke, heart disease, high blood pressure,
diabetes and osteoporosis.
