Sterling was the first to successfully contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for a newly-authorized Medicare health plan, Private-Fee-for-Service (PFFS). By incorporating this plan into its already established Standard Medicare and Medicare Select insurance plans, Sterling is able to offer this mix of products in one platform. Sterling was also the first to allow policyholders to move between certain health plans as their needs change, without additional underwriting. More recently we have updated our life insurance, Critical care, cancer plans and long term care insurance to provide complete health and wellness insurance.
