Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing sanctuary for members of the community who wish to balance their bodies and nourish their hearts through yoga and meditation, by offering classes in both the Christian and secular styles, free from Hindu influence.
**Unless a class is specifically listed as “Faithful”, it will be taught in a secular fashion, free from religious influence.**
Balance the Body Gentle Yoga – Gentle stretching and some restorative postures to lengthen muscles and increase flexibility. Breathing and concentration techniques enhance relaxation, reduce stress, and nurture the body, mind and soul. For students of all levels, especially those with limited movement. 75 minutes.
Vitalize the Breath Yoga – Teaches the basics of hatha yoga including proper alignment in basic postures, breathing and relaxation. Gently lengthens muscles while building strength and flexibility throughout the body. This weight-bearing practice also improves posture, balance and focus. Appropriate for all levels. 75 minutes.
Nourish the Soul Restorative Yoga – In these peaceful classes, all postures are on the floor with comfortable bolsters and blankets that help you relax and are designed to stretch the body, calm the mind, and get centered. This soothing practice allows for solitude and meditation. Restorative yoga is ideally suited for people in need of both emotional and physical healing and restoration. Appropriate for all levels. 75 minutes.
***All Faithful Classes – Taught from a Christian aspect using Bible scriptures to renew the mind as the body is being strengthened and restored. Each class begins and ends with a silent prayer and scripture meditation.
