I am a board-certified general and forensic psychiatrist located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria.
In my clinical practice, I conduct an in-depth evaluation so as to thoroughly understand my patients and design a customized treatment plan, which may include the use of medication and/or a combination of the following therapeutic modalities: cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, trauma-focused, EMDR, exposure and response prevention, and supportive therapy. The office is conveniently located in the heart of Old Town, only minutes from I-95 and I-495. Parking is available on-site.
In my forensic work, I am available nationally for consultation on both civil and criminal matters. After completing a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, I obtained board certification in forensic psychiatry. I have worked with businesses, plaintiff's and defense attorneys, court systems, and private individuals in providing forensic assessments (e.g. IME's), expert witness, and consultative services.
