I had surgery at St. Francis on 10/4/2018. I gave St. Francis a substantial deposit against my responsibility for costs. After the insurance claims were processed, my deposit turned out to be larger than my responsibility. I have been requesting a refund from St. Francis for two months. My insurance company even contacted them requesting a refund as it appears they are violating their agreement with them on refunding patient overpayments. Still nothing. Seems very unethical to me. No longer comfortable seeking treatment here. Changing to doctors affiliated with other hospital.
