I almost died in this hospital due to ignorant, rude, inconsiderate, dangerous treatments. I was screaming in pain and almost dead from Pancreatitis and was forced to lie on the floor of the waiting room for three hours before being admitted to the emergency room, where I was then held for an hour before being given medication for the pain, another 20 minutes before seeing a doctor. I am horrified that the doctor who treated me is allowed to practice here. I was made to take treatments that the doctor later told me he would not have recommended. The doctor came into the room on my first visit cursing at the nurses. I was incorrectly given a catheter and when I told the nurse that I needed to use the restroom, she told me that that was impossible. She agreed to remove it so that i could use the restroom and she cut me, so I then painfully urinated blood for two days. After being told (on my third day) that i could not be treated in this hospital and that I would be transferred to another hospital, I was sent an enormous bill. After setting up a pay plan, which was strictly adhered to, I was not advised at all if not at least by proper procedure, that my balance was to be transferred to a collection agency. I have had excellent credit my whole life and have never paid medical bills late. The manager (GONZALEZ) of the office admitted that I was supposed to receive a letter to advise that my balance was to be transferred to collection agencies and that it was regrettable since I had been receiving receipts for payments I had already made.
