Lockport Hospital is the worst place in the world to take a loved one!! I would give zero stars if it would let me!! My father was taken there for uncontrollable diabetes, with a blood sugar level over 400 and went up to over 500. Dr Franco, the ER dr told him there was nothing he could do for him and to go home and die! Needless to say I will be following up with so called Dr Franco ' s supervisor, as well as my father's insurance company and the health dept!! If nothing is done I will take it to the media!!!

My sister sat in ER barely able to breathe for 10 hours waiting for Dr. Jherio to give orders. He apparently doesn't call the ER staff.back so she sat and suffered . Well needless to say she had to go straight to ICU. Upon getting there we have sat all weekend with not one word from a doctor!!! The nurses are complete B"**'!:'es....and mind you I'm a polite person but people can take si much. I understand nurses are busy but can u at least fake some compassionwe know you've seen this a million times but this is my loved one and I'm seeing this all happen for the first time. ?One nurse in particular was horrendous vand I will get her name and report her..when we asked whats wrong with my sister said she has multiple things wrong but I don't have the time to sit here and tell you.. I will say there was a super nice male nurse on nights named Jim. Its Monday and still nothing from this Dr.. Nurses complaining because they have to answer phones well then there should be people hired to do that. Obviously families want to know how loved ones are. I know there's Hippa laws but we were all listed as being able to call to see how my sister was. This is a terrible hospital with an uncaring rude downright cruel staff. I asked the old shriveled up bug eyed day nurse if my sister was improving at all and she said better from when? I said yesterday she said um we'll shes on a ventilator...so??? Sorry I'm not a nursing student what's that little riddle mean. Overall terrible dirty hospital with the exception of one nice male night ICU nurse named Jim.
