For Your Health Massage is dedicated to providing you with a bodywork experience that exceeds your expectations. Each massage is customized based upon your health needs.

Massage truly is good for what ails you. Virtually every body system can benefit from the balancing effects that massage has upon homeostatis - the bodies natural healing abilities. Massage can help reduce stress and anxiety by decreasing activity of the sympathetic nervous system (the fight or flight response), promote relaxation by stimulating release of the bodies feel good hormones, reduce muscle pain, tightness, and spasms. Improve circulation which aides in healing tissues and removing waste products from the cells. The list goes on and on - see the tab labeled "benefits" for a more complete list.

A variety of techniques are used including: deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, neuromuscular therapy, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy - to make the massage uniquely yours.

Martha makes an extra effort to get to know her patients and find out what they need. She always makes me feel very important, and she knows so much about the different types of massages. She has been able to do massages that I had never even heard of before. She does such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though she is extremely popular. I am always able to relax very easily. Martha has a very welcoming and warm personality and is an excellent massage therapist that I have the greatest confidence in referring.
