While I was on a tour for our loved one our tour guide was I believe Tiffany the marketer. She was very helpful and introduced the staff along the tour.
This facility also has their own Home Health that gives their patients extra TLC. Staff was very caring. Building was very updated and bright.

I visited here on 9/20/13. The building at that time was shabby and run-down -- rode hard and put away wet, as my mom used to say. Carpet in lobby was torn and patched with DUCT TAPE. It was also sagging and stretched -- a real falling hazard. The lounge and common rooms were tired and out of style. Other common areas looked barren. Few residents were to be seen at 3:30PM -- all in their rooms?

The design of the building is confusing to ME, and I'm still middle aged and have my faculties....I can't imagine a confused frail elderly person navigating the dark, winding halls.

Rooms are larger than average; even the studio is a nice size. They have "dorm" type kitchenettes and decent closet space. However, the cost is among the highest I have seen -- even a studio is well over $4000 a month and that does NOT include care. I asked for an average care cost and was told "$1600" (high), so that's $6000 a month to have grandma in a small studio.

The food director took time to talk to me, and assured me that she was very serious and committed to nutritious, tasty meals (however I did not have time to eat there). The appearance of the dining area was average.

The tour guide however (someone from marketing) tried to push me to put my relative in the more costly "memory care" unit, even when I patiently explained we were moving here because her current situation is too restrictive and the other patients too mentally handicapped to give her companionship! she totally did not listen to me. That does not bode well for the future. I won't be back.
