I went in for a pinched nerve in my neck only to receive bill after bill after bill (after bill) for treatment for a sore shoulder. I wrote letters and called the office (the receiptionst is very rude, by the way, she likes to talk over you). At any rate, she proceeded to tell me that the physical therapist's notes were legal documents, and therefore, I am required to pay the bills. ??????

I explained that I though my chart was confused with someone else since I never had shoulder pain. Even though she agreed that there was no definative proof that I received treatment (other than the physical therapists notes), I am liable for the treatment.

I will leave negative feedback here, on Angie's List and with the BBB. I think I will also consult with the State's Attorney's office and possibly a private lawyer. I will also turn them in for insurance fraud to Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

Trust me, they'll have you make a ton of appointments and treat you for fake ailments. DON'T GO THERE.

I have been going to Family Care Wellness and Rehab for over 3 years, using all of their services - chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, ultrasound therapy, accupuncture as well as elective (paid 100% by me) treatments such as purchasing recommended supplements to enhance treatments, wellness massage, detox footbath and laser hair removal. With the exception of laser hair removal, which was a bust, all other services are very good, hence the long-term standing as a patient. This is a large, fairly impressive practice, must different from the small store-fronts in strip malls. Recommended.
