I boarded my dogs through Paw Prints on multiple occasions without incident. However, the last time they kept the dogs, the office staff overcharged me for the boarding (charged vet's house pricing versus office pricing). Additionally, they didn't follow the instructions and left a harness on one of the dogs full time. This caused an issue because my dog chewed through the harness requiring it to be replaced.
When I spoke with the office staff, I was told to come to the office in the afternoon to be reimbursed with cash. I worked afternoons and couldn't make it. Any time I went in I was told to come back later for cash. Finally I gave up going in and just decided to leave it as a credit for the next boarding.
We haven't needed boarding services for several months, so I called the office to ask for a check for the refund/reimbursement. The office staff has changed, so when they told me they needed to research I understood. I had to make multiple return calls before I finally got a response - and it was completely unexpected. The office staff admitted that our file shows we were over-charged, and they even had the original receipt from the replacement harness purchase. However, they refused to provide a refund.
I asked why I was not being refunded even when the file indicated I was overcharged and there were notes and receipts for the harness reimbursement. I was told that Dr Callison and her husband were unaware of the over-charge and the office staff who made the original reimbursement/refund offer was no longer employed. Because of these, I was told I could only receive credit towards future veterinary services. I reiterated that the file had notes from the time indicating that I was due a refund. I was again told that since the vet had never been told of this they would not honor the refund but would only offer credit for future services.
