As the owner of Acadiana West Animal Clinic I wish people who are unhappy about something would pick up the phone and talk to me. We have made thousands of people and pets happy for over 25 years but often only the UNhappy ones feel the need to vent anonymously. We are open to suggestions and critiques that are reasonable and done professionally. I have had several veterinarians work for me over the years so choices have always been available with regard to who you want to care for your pet. So come see us and decide for yourself. We ALWAYS try to please.

I was caught in a situation when I discovered my dog's foot was swollen and throbbing to the point she couldn't move and my vet was closed. I scrambled to find any vet to try and treat her when I came across Acadiana West clinic on Barataria Blvd. I told the receptionist the problem and she went talk to the vet ( no other customers were there) at which point the vet said she would not even look at my dog because we were not a regular client of hers. What a freakin' B. Here I am with this dog laying in pain and I just needed anything to help her get to the next morning comfortably to see her own vet. Acadiana West did not care, would not provide any medicine or even look at her. Do not give this veterinarian a dime of your business , they are not worth it!

Absolutely! They made me feel like my questions and concerns were stupid
Is this provider easy to reach in an emergency?
Absolutely not. I was forced to call the emergency room.
