Although I've had only good experience with all other vets and staff at Gettysburg Animal Hospital, Dr. Dodson was stunningly condescending and rude. I had been misinformed by his staff about when to arrive for a procedure for my pet. The hospital door was locked when I arrived (on time, re: the instructions), and no relevant staff was present. A very nice kennel staffperson agreed to try to find out from Dr. Dodson what was going on. She disappeared for a few minutes, returned, and gave me a second set of instructions requiring me to wait for at least an hour. I asked to speak to Dr. Dodson WHEN he was free. Not a minute later, the vet rushed into the waiting room and, without giving me a chance to speak, chewed me out for pulling him away from sick pets. He then gave me a third set of instructions. In a tone clearly implying that I must be stupid, he said "it's very simple." I objected to his tone, and he replied angrily, "That's too bad," and stormed out of the waiting room as I tried to explain the mixup about instructions. I've never before written a bad review of anyone, but this was inexcusable
