Roxanne Rose, LICSW, IATP
This is a professional mental health counseling facility. We see all ages of children to adults. We offer play therapy for kids, individual, family, couples and group therapy. Roxanne Rose is a LICSW with over 22 years of experience. she has served on Ramsey County child protection team, worked with individuals and groups in chemical addiction treatment groups, and in clinical depression. Ms. Rose is trained and certified in working with traumatized children, and sexual abuse cases- both with children and adults. Ms.Rose founded and runs the A New Horizons Counseling Services, LLC in Devils Lake. Her area's of expertise include: working with individuals w/ clinical depression and anxiety disorders, child and youth therapy, Including assessments and referrals for children with acting out behavior, and/or oppositional behavior, also with both children and adults that have family addiction issues.Clients LOVE that services are very private and individualized!! Services
Ms. Rose runs the only clinical depression group in Devils Lake- the Peer Positive Support group, which runs from October every year through April, however referrals and intakes are welcome at any time for this. Ms. Rose also founded and runs the Y.E.S.S. group in Devils Lake -which stand for Youth Education Support Services for children that are from drug and alcohol addicted families. This group has started and been ran in town for 20 years, and has had a very positive outcome for children who have gone through this 12 week group. Self-Esteem Groups are offered at any time.
Services Include: Individual Counseling (for children and adults), Family Counseling, Marriage/Couples Counseling, and Group Counseling. There are groups for Depression and Anxiety, YESS groups for children of addiction, Self-Esteem Groups,and Domestic Violence Groups. Groups are always being added so call the office for more information at any time.
Ms. Rose also works with people with grief issues, divorce issues, ADHD and Acting Out Behavior Children, and with children of divorce. Groups will be starting in the fall with more groups running.
