I was in therapy with Dr. Hernandez for 4 years. At the time my state of conscious carried heavy burdens of past, and a compulsion to repeat traumatic experiences, my habitual tendencies were undermining good mental health, happiness, relationships with family, friends, etc and success in worldly affairs.
Previous therapies had proved ineffective. To my surprise, Dr. Hernandez's skill , experience and I use this word honestly : Brilliance transformed my external life and transmuted my internal afflictions into strengths.
Upon reflection after 2 years since I moved from SC - it feels somewhat mysterious how much I've transformed- I give much credit and gratitude to this psychologist.
I work in the mental field and I can say with a degree of confidence this provider is a rare find and an outlier of norm ( average) he is well above the mean of the bell curve.
He is not going to sugar coat issues that will sabotage you. This reveals how dedicated he truly is to have the real compassion of a healer to care more about the total health of a patient - instead of risking " hurting" the feelings of the self-centered ego of an individual. It denotes his serious devotion to his practice.
He has an uncanny ability to delve directly to the core elements in one's psyche that need healing- although it is extremely hard to do- most tend to avoid this authentic approach- I am grateful he works this way. Many times I wanted to quit, resist therapy and even try and blame or act out towards Dr. Hernandez for irrelevant things.
Now I realize his depth of knowledge allowed him to not reinforce my negative and self-defeating habits. He remained collected and patient with my growing pains.
In conclusion , I learned how to self regulate my emotions , love myself and discover the profound power the resides in my own mind, to trust and follow my heart and " tend to my own garden"
Dr. Hernandez knows and is able teach his clients how to self liberate. Although I really disliked him personally at times- I will alway have an agape type of love for him for teaching me to unlock my own potential! Life today is beautiful, amazing and full of new possibilities regardless what tragedy befall me- I know now how to overcome and transmute my pain into powerful assets . One of the most poignant lessons he taught me was to be the author of my own life story .
I hope he will continue to work in this feild, because such a highly perceptive mind and the dexterity of his approaches are not common. This provider is a diamond in the rough and also it is great fun to be a part of his creative enlivening work.
