When I was married with one child we went to Dennis Azeroff for Family of Origin Counseling. My wife, from a family of 13, wanted to maintain her family's systems. I wanted to break and pursue Our family's future. And, our daughter was intentionally involved, where each of us had to choose between protecting and pursuing our past or future.

Dennis is steeped in Dr. Bowen's Family of Origin counseling. He was able to help us untangled the webs of triangles supporting the systems. In the end, everyone was able to choose, and be clear about and happy with their choice.

Dennis' fast knowledge of Family Counseling as an art and science is about getting people to where they can make clear choices. And, then they building their lives from there, without remorse or regrets.

Today, our 3 family members live apart and have gone forward with their lives. But, we do so with mutual love and support of one another. And, that's really the kind of result we were hoping to achieve.

Dr. Azaroff is patient, insightful, informative, humble, and caring. I use what he taught me every day and it has significantly improved my life. I've been to many therapists in my life and Azaroff is definitely one of the best. He's not perfect, sometimes he is biased or a little confusing (at least to me). I went to his group therapy sessions for over a year and would recommend him.
