I began my career as a volunteer counselor at what is now called Sound Mental Health in the Bellevue location in 1993. I had completed my BA degree when I began and applied and was accepted to Seattle U for my Masters program. I graduated from S.U. in 1997 and started my private practice a month later. I have found this work to be very rewarding.
I have a relaxed approach with people as we get to know each other. You will find me straight forward, kind, compassionate, honest and dedicated to helping each person with what they are struggling with.
My approach is eclectic meaning I use various modalities of counseling that I feel is most helpful to you and the individual problem(s) you need help with. Please feel free to call and discuss what you need help with and we'll see if it's a fit.
