Dot has been in practice as sole propreitor of Pathways Christian Counseling for over fifteen years. The practice operates from the offices of the Master's House of the Copiah Baptist Association and provides part of the Master's touch on life probems and tough situations affecting individuals (anxiety, depresion, personality issues and others), couples, and .families. Pathways reminds that change and growth are a planned part of the Christian's walk and we are"to sharpen each other' as iron sharpens iron. We are also to bind up the wounds of the wounded and provide care. Christian therapy helps one to recognize his own woundedness, his own selfish, defensive actions, and find alternatives. Couples and family also face pressure from external sources. Dot provides counsel for those dealing with the havoc of addiction, affairs, financial infidelity, mental illness, chronic illness, caregiving, childhood abuse or neglect, and other issues.
