I did not feel my parents were safe at all in their care. After finding that my mother (suffers from Dementia) had notbeen bathed in over 4 weeks (they blamed her ) I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. My parents bed sheets smell rancid, I suspect they had not been changed in weeks. The msnager promised everthing wouls be fixed and even called me to tell me they had. I visitedd my parents the next day and nothing had been done at all. . Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there and they continually called me when my mother had a bad day....to tell me to get her under control (she was in memory care). They always made sure to return my phone call as soon as possible but did nothing. the overall attitude seemed to be "our way or the highway" vs "how can we make your stay great" I moved my parents into a different Assisted living, Mom gets bathed, the staff is highly trained and their care giver team loves them.
