I have nothing but great things to say about Hillside. When they say they are family owned and operated, they even make you feel like family. They love that I am very involved with my mom's care which other places do not seem to enjoy. I had the son who does the Marketing give me a tour and he was so enthusiastic about their philosophy that it truly made me enthusiastic, I knew this was where mom belonged thanks to him. The owners are so down to earth and really ensure their staff provide good quality of care. The administrator/owner is so genuine. I have her personal cell and in any emergency or time of frantic she will call or text me any time day or night to ensure I am comforted. I can email the daughter whose the Nurse Director any time of the day as well and I always get a quick thorough reply. They seriously feel like family, it is amazing! Not to mention, the building both outside and inside are so homey and comfortable. When you walk in the front door and through the halls, you spell nice fragrances rather than urine or bm. They are all just so pleasant. When I am walking through the hall to moms apartment I always get a smile and a hello from any staff member. Hillside is a great place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for that down to earth, homey, family like setting with a promise of great care!
