My mother went to the Residency for rehab, her assisted living would not allow her to go back until she was stronger. So after listening to the spiel from the PR person, my sister and I chose the Residency. The rehab was great, but the regular nursing care on the floor was horrible. We found my mother 3 times without any oxygen left in her bottle. The food was cold every meal, until after I complained, so maybe 2 weeks in it started getting warm. When they came to pick her up from the hospital, they had no oxygen and then after the guy and got it, he had no idea how to hook it up. I would not recommend this facility for anyone who needs good care. The lady across the hall from my mother rang the nurses bell and 15 minutes later no one had come to help her up to the bathroom. My husband finally walked down there and said that poor woman has to go can't someone take the time to help her! My mom also said she would wait long times for someone to answer her bell. I did go to her rehab with her and it was good and impressive, that is why i took her out earlier than planned. I felt I didn't want her subjected to that care anymore.
