A few years ago Morningside was the perfect place to be for an elderly person who could no longer live at home alone. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Our concerns and questions were answered in a timely fashion. Our parent had a clean apt. The CNA's were helpful and most were sweet. They have changed personnel over the last couple of years and it shows. Residents complain about various issues not being addressed, some bathrooms aren't cleaned well in the residents' rooms nor vacuumed often. The head office people are not friendly; they sit at their computers or have meetings and don't even know the residents. If you are planning to have someone move to Assisted Living, be sure to check out how long the staff has worked there first.
