the place is overrun with bedbugs and food is scarce. the residents are always out in the community begging for food or rummaging through trash bins. there are a lot of sexual predators living there and there is absolutely no security for staff, residents or the community. I don't know why the state has not shut this place down. it is horrible.

I don't know if they're running a retirement center or a mental health facility. The majority of the residents appear to have some mental issues. The place is nasty and dirty and smells as well does some of the residents. There is no type of security on site. They don't have a registered nurse or an LPN on staff (or on call) - so I wonder whose dispensing the medications.
also it does not appear that the residents are eating regular meals. I actually saw one of the residents searching the garbage can for food and I saw another one bring in outdated ensure that he had gotten from the dumpster at the nursing home next door.
the is absolutely no place that I would want to have a loved one retire to.
FYI: the director's office is so junky and cluttered - if this is how here office looks, its not hard to see why the facility is in such worse shape.
