DO NOT SEND ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT HERE!
My dad suffered from a flesh eating infection. After 4 weeks at Mercy Anderson and Jewish Mercy and nearly dying several times he was transferred here because Jewish wanted to isolate him so he did not contract a secondary infection. He was taken here to continue to recovery and start some rehabilitation before going back to Jewish for a skin graft. Visiting my dad for the first time his legs were swollen 3 times normal size and after hitting the nurse button it took over 15 mins to even get a response from a nurse and then took over 1 hour for someone to come into the room. They didn't even do anything about his swollen legs except say that they "noted" it. The floors here look like they have never been swept and crumbs were everywhere. He has felt sick for 2 days there and not eaten much he is supposed to be eating and getting lots of protein. Not once have they gotten him up to try and walk or lift weights since he has been there since last week. Instead of simply cleaning his temporary colostomy bag they just replaced it (lazy and a waste of money). No one is here doing therapy like we were told and half the people are on ventilators half dead. Place is disgusting and is filled with nurses thar have no clue what is going on with their patients. I was so boiling mad at the conditions I had to leave.

UPDATE: 3/20/19: Went to visit my father last night and now he has acute kidney trauma and doesn't even remember the last 80 days he has been in the hospital. He ripped out his feeding tube and wants to walk home even though he is not aloud to walk. They had to physically restrain him to the bed. He was normal last week and now because of lack of care he is slipping into a worse condition he has slowly been getting worse being here and all he is here for is a skin graft to heal. I have never been this terrified of how a love one is being treated in an environment like a hospital before. We are getting him out of here ASAP and looking into possibly legal action. It should be illegal to operate a facility with such lack of pride or professionalism.
