We are happy to announce that as of 2013, Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital is now under new ownership. Not only do we have a new owner, we have new managers, Doctors, technicians and receptionists. Our hospital is also undergoing renovations as well. We welcome you to stop by for a tour and to meet our new staff and management anytime Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. We will also send you home with a special treat for your four legged friend just for stopping by! Another exciting change that our new owner has implemented is that we now offer emergency services 24 hours a day/7 days a week including all holidays. So never fear for your pet's safety, we will always be here for you and your fuzzy family members. We look forward to meeting you!

Negative star review. HORRIBLE!!! I took my lethargic cat there about 2 years ago. He was not eating or drinking, clearly I'll. We were put in an exam room fairly soon but waited just under 7, yes SEVEN, hours before a veterinarian finally entered our room. I thought they must've been having an unusual number of high level emergencies. I chose not to leave a review at that time thinking this was an isolated incident. Unfortunately I just learned a friend recently rushed her elderly cat there for emergency euthanasia. The staff was aware the cat appeared to be seizing, obviously in distress. The poor cat waited an hour at this location before being seen. This place should be shut down immediately. Please take your furbabies ANYWHERE else!

I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. They have the greatest designated area for pets to go to the bathroom here, which is extremely convenient. I never have to worry about scouting out a place for my dog to go pee and It is so well kept too. Wow is all I can say about them. I have seen some vets become callused and unemotional but you will not find that here. The veterinarian and staff are extremely friendly and treat pets as if they are a part of the family. I could really tell how much they love animals.
