I was more then appalled by the way they treat their patients. Medication was often an hour or more late, food was terrible and on more then one occasion didn't come at all and patients had to order food and pay for it from their own pocket. When asking a nurse for help patients often times got a rude response or was ignored completely. Nurses set behind their desk sleeping or doing each others hair. The patients rooms and bedding would go days without being cleaned or changed. The therapist there are no better then the nursing staff leaving patients unattended while on machinery where they could easily fall or get hurt. And forget getting any kind of help from the people who work in the offices there, when bring up a subject such as the ones I have mentioned here will only lead to a argument and the patient being treated even worse. You are not able to voice your concerns or issues there with anyone, I would never allow a family member, loved one or friend to be admitted to such a place as Life Care Center of Saint Louis, they do not care about their patients or their well being.
