My sister has been in Methodist Hospital for over two weeks. The Doctors decided she needed a Bronchoscope test. No one seemed to know where it would be done. They sent me to the surgery center. There I was told it must be at the out patient surgery center. I finally found out where that was. When I checked in at the front desk I was frustrated and worried about anesthesia for a chronically ill person. I was short with Linda the receptionist. She assured me that she understood my frustration. In my conversation with her I could tell she genuinely cared about what I and my family was going through. I went outside, and the doctor was finished. Linda knew I wanted to talk to the doctor. She took it upon herself to call me on my cell phone so I wouldn't miss talking to the doctor. Linda turned what was a stressful situation, into something positive. Linda is a caring person and a huge credit to Methodist Hospital.
