terrible experience. Doctor somewhat friendly but not knowledgeable what so ever. After requesting to be sent to a specialist I called to verify my appointment and she made me an appointment for the opposite thing. Having files transferred elsewhere. Unfortunately, one of the many times they have made a mistake.

-- I switched to Tipton about a year ago and have had mediocre service ever since. Today was the last straw though. I switched from Solon who's usual wait is 45 minutes to an hour to been seen. (With an appointment) Good thing I came to Tipton! They were only running 40 minutes behind. --- The male doctor (I believe his name was Reed. ) Was absolutely awful. I began the appointment by stating I needed a refill for my epi pen prescription and he asked me why I needed it. Upon explaining my food allergies to him and the symptoms that come with them, he asked if I even knew where my wind pipe and my esophagus were located. From there he proceeded to ridicule me and ask how I could know either one was closing if I don't know where they begin and end. Eventually I gave up trying to explain how I know my throat is closing and moved on to the main reason I was there. I had two large moles my old doctor had been suggesting I get removed for years. I had finally worked up the courage to get them removed. Upon lying down and having the nurse apply the iodine around the area, he began badgering my friend (who was there for support) on if she was going to faint or not and how she knew she wouldn't faint. After assuring him she wasn't squeamish in the least bit he demanded that she sit and not move from that spot. From there the nurse began wheeling the table of supplies towards him. I turned my head to look and he pushed down on my back (I'm laying on my stomach) When I told him, "I'd just like to look" he said there was no reason for it and to lye still. -- I am TERRIFIED of needles. With one hand pushing me hard into the mattress and the other trying to unwrap the instruments, we sat there in silence for about 45 seconds before I said, "I don't think I can do this." Upon which time he said, "Well, that's fine." and left the room, never to be seen again. --I left the office in tears. Not one person, including the nurse who wiped the iodine off my back asked if I was okay or said anything to comfort me. --It was a horrendous experience and I will never go back to that doctor again, not that he gives two rips. I'm currently looking into switching to St Lukes. Although it's a longer drive to a hospital, having a doctor who cares whether or not my questions are answered and I'm comfortable with a procedure before holding me down. -- What a joke!
