Hello ,first i want to say thank you to the staff at blackman, im sure you are aware of our doggos dilemma, upon his first visit for a wellness check and to have his anal glands expressed, he was recovering ok but then became constipated again, we called the vet and said he had a large swelling on his left side of his tale, without recommending or listening to us to be seen again he was simply put on more antibiotics. at the end of that batch of antibiotics the growth had not diminished and we brought him back in tuesday , the vet shocked my wife and i by shoving his thumb into the buldge then squeezing very hard, im sure the whole clinic heard doggos blood curdling screams,the vet showed us a thick excretion he squeezed out saying it was anal gland fluid and recommended more anti biotics and anti inflammatory, we asked will that get rid of the stuff in the swelling he said probably not but he should be able to pass it. the next step would be tranquilize him and remove it, well after he hurt doggo so bad with the squeezing i lost all trust in the vet. after we took doggo home he stopped eating and the vets squeezing the growth apparently completely blocked the anal canal. doggo and i were up all afternoon and night with doggo trying to go to the bathroom to absolutely no success. the next morning i called another vet and explained the situation, they immediately said bring him in and did a procedure to remove the growth imagine our surprise when we found out it was not fluid in his anal gland but a golfball sized chunk of dried fecal matter. doggo is a chihuahua we picked doggo up at 1:45 and he and i both slept all afternoon as we were both beat from being up for 16 hours in pain . doggo is doing great, he is eating normally and having normal bowel movement again, thanks to the staff for your kindness, not so much for the vets ignorance and apparent lack of feeling for our pet, P.S we wont be back.

Unlike other veterinarians I've been too, I have never seen them appear overwhelmed by too many pets. They are extremely organized and make sure the vet has plenty of time to see each patient for as long as necessary. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. I feel like they go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I always get the appointment time I want. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. If I were in need of a kennel for my pet I would definitely take them here. The kennels and holding areas in their office were some of the cleanest I have ever seen.

Absolutely, they always make me feel like I'm their only patient.
When your pet had to stay in overnight care did this veterinarian call you with follow-ups when they promised they would?
Absolutely, they usually call more times than they say they promised. I was fully informed the whole time.
Were the restrooms clean at this provider's office?
Yes, I could tell they were cleaned regularly
