BIGGEST Scam artists around.
First they were suppose to delivery to the hospital before discharge, that didn’t happen.
They delivered to the house at 11:30 that night.
I was to be on tube feeding for four more days, and they brought enough for 48 days. Fortunetly we caught that and refused it, Also 32 feeding bags in another box with other items. We didn’t know about those because the delivery sheet was not itemized. When we opened the box and saw them we called to return them, but they would not take them back because the box was opened. We were told they would take them to throw them in the trash, (you know darn well they would have been resold). So now I sit with all of these extra medical supplies I don’t need.
I also got a suction machine to use in case I needed it, I did not. Then two months after this, I got a bill for it all including rental of the machine. We were told by Advocate everything was covered by insurance, apparently they don’t know much. All the food and bags were covered by insurance but not the machine. The machine is a rental with additional items attached to it.
So if you use this company be aware of what you are getting and do not accept the extras they throw in to up charge. I am still trying to find out if they billed all of the machine costs to the insurance also, (wouldn’t surprise me). Wrap up BEWARE……………..
