Since 1981, Oak View Animal Hospital in Pelham, AL has been providing companion
pets and their owners with compassionate, state-of-the-art veterinary care and service.
We are a full-service veterinary hospital capable of offering a wide range of preventative

In 2006, Dr. Jay Price joined the veterinary staff and fell in love with this rare community located in the shadow of beautiful Oak Mountain State Park.
Today, Dr. Price continues to work closely with Dr. Robinson and the rest of our staff to provide the most compassionate and comprehensive veterinary care found anywhere. We are a full-service veterinary hospital that understands your pet is a special member of your family and that his or her health is very important to you.
As pet owners ourselves, we know that the key to good health throughout the life of your pet is preventative care. This is why thorough wellness checkups are a standard piece of the care we offer. We also believe that the judicious application of vaccines is an important aspect of keeping your pet healthy and to that end we have developed a well-balanced vaccination protocol. We also recommend and provide regular dental care as well as personalized puppy and senior wellness examinations, Microchipping, and more.
However, preventative care does not begin and end at our facility. When you come in for an appointment you will receive important home healthcare advice as well as new information and recommendations for the care of your particular type and breed of pet. Our clients will also see how our fully equipped lab and pharmacy complement our wellness care services and are a convenient and cost-effective service for you and your pet.
We also understand that accidents and illness will happen even to the healthiest of pets. This is where Oak View Animal Hospital really excels. The skill and expertise of our doctors is enhanced by modern diagnostic imaging equipment, in-house medical testing capabilities, complete surgical suite, and a wide range of internal medicine expertise and resources.
