Went to SMV for the first time recently. Seemed ok while I was sitting in the waiting room, until a male vet tech came in and gave me a nasty scowl. I prayed that this guy was not going to handle my animal. Just had a bad additude that radiated through the office. Turns out this was the Vet and Owner. Maybe he had a bad day or something, but scowling at a new customer made a bad impression. I got the feeling the employees weren't happy either. Going to trust my instincts and find another Vet. Will say that Dr Reis, who ultimately took care of my pet was great though!
