Even though he tries to respond to your pet needs in a timely fashion, there's something about him that isn't right. Yes, he is egotistical and can be detached emotionally to both your pet and you. I don't like how he charges different prices for the same procedures. He doesn't have firm prices for any procedures and will not allow his staff to quote any prices either while you are in his office or on the phone. They tell you that he will call you and discuss prices with you. I have never been comfortable with this part of his practice at all. I just want fair, consistant charges. His huge ego is very obvious in the way he treats his staff. Because of these things I always wondered if he really gave my pets the best of care so we decided to go elsewhere.

Dr. Mark Herne has been our veterinarian since he graduated veterinary college. He's helped all of our animals over the years and has always been there when we needed him. He's saved many lives and won't sell you products or services your pet does not need. He's very experienced and knowledgeable.
