The vet we dealt with was so cold, clinical and impersonal. We have been going to Three Notch for 9+ years and have always had good experiences, but this vet was so cold and acted like the questions I asked about euthanasia (do they prefer animals brought in at night, in the morning, etc) were such a pain for her to answer and an intrusion into her busy workday. She answered my questions about adjusting my cat's medicine like I was an elementary aged child. She obviously didn't care about my pet's comfort after I decided not to pursue any more expensive treatments that might not do anything. Although the office was clean and she was knowledgeable, none of that matters if the vet doesn't show any compassion for pets and their families. I think a vet's office should care just as much how an animal dies as much as how it lives. After 9+ years at this office, I will be looking for a different practice.

As the mom of 4 large breed dogs that are always getting into something, including aging; it is nice to know that there is a place I can go to have concerns addressed and the occasional issue resolved. Dr. Feldhaus helped us with our final goodbye with our last dog in Dec 2007 and she was so compassionate with us. She knew how upset we were to say goodbye to a faithful friend and her compassion overwhelmed us. She even sent us a card in the mail a few days later. So sweet. I also know that if one of my dogs has a health concern, I can trust them to tell me what they would do if it was their dog and not always opt for the most expensive option. They realize that the most expensive option is not always the best option and I greatly appreciate that. Three Notch Vet is truly a wonderful place and I trust the care of my dogs to them with 100% confidence.
