Dr O'Brien is delightful and approachable. She is down to earth and realistic but Dr Gould is condescending. He is rigid about insisting on extensive and unneeded tests for animals owned by people who have limited incomes and older beloved animals. I wish vets that charge this much would remember that even poor folks have beloved pets and should be able to get affordable health care for them. Why don't they think about having a low cost surgery clinic every so often, maybe in collaboration with other local vets, to help the pets of those that cannot afford regular fees to "pay it forward"?
