Dr. Wendy Yang was born in Los Angeles, but spent 4 years at UC Berkeley in order to earn her bachelor''s degree in Molecular & Cell Biology. After a couple of years of research in a UCLA neurobiology lab, she realized that she needed to get out of the lab and pursue her goal of a hands-on career in healthcare.
Dr. Yang has always loved the idea of treating patients in order to prevent disease, relieve pain, and ultimately improve their way of life. This brought her to Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles, where she graduated Cum Laude, then soon received her Doctor of Chiropractic license and a Radiology supervisor & operator permit. Dr. Yang interviewed with many chiropractic offices in LA, but none were as holistic and welcoming as Healing Hands Wellness Center. With a caring staff and a beautiful setting, she is excited to bring chiropractic back to this location.
Dr. Yang primarily adjusts using Diversified technique when treating patients, but she also utilizes low-force techniques when needed (Thompson, SOT) in order to reduce the stress to the patient''s body. When the problem is muscular in origin, she can use soft tissue therapy (specializing in trigger point therapy) and recommend specific stretches/exercises in order to regain muscular balance and proper posture. With regular adjustments, muscular balance, and taking advantage of the other services available at HHWC, she believes that we can greatly improve the health and wellness of our patients.
Healing Hands Wellness Center also provides acupuncture and massage therapy at reasonable prices.

Absolutely the best DC I have seen. I had had muscular spasms in my shoulders and neck since I was a 16. Debilitating to the point that at least 5 times a year I could not turn my neck more than a few degrees. At 34 I had one session with Wendy and have had negligible for the past 7 years.
My neck just flared up again like the old days, so I looked her up online to find her again since she does not work at the same place I saw her at. 7 years, no issues....best money I have ever spent.
