I brought my mother in to establish with a new doctor. Coming from a larger office prior to this, I thought my mother would get better care. I found that this doctor, although friendly, has not had a lot of experience with chronic illness. Maybe my mother should have stayed with an internist. I honestly did not feel like this doctor has a good grasp of her care. I felt as if we just came in for more pills. I need a doctor that has more of a proactive approach. The wait was ok but we waited in the room for almost 30 minutes. The assistant really didn't know how to draw blood but she did try her best. I would suggest just going to the lab. A big problem I had with this doctor is he really does not return calls promptly. I still don't know why we are getting erroneous bills. My mother has Medicare. Isn't that easy enough? I did try to contact the office manager but she was less than helpful with fixing billing issues. Sadly, we will be looking for another doctor.
