Dedicated to the complete resolution of acute and chronic back pain, neck pain, shoulder, hip, arm pain and related wrist, hand, ankle and foot pain. Laura Skutch LMT has been helping clients move beyond chronic pain for over 25 years using unique holistic techniques pioneered at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitative Medicine at New York University.

Laura Skutch also specializes in the treatment and resolution of insomnia and fibromyalgia. She is also certified in pregnancy and post natal massage as well as being certified to practice Mayan abdominal massage for women seeking alternative fertility protocols and for other digestive and reproductive issues.

In addition, Laura offers Hot Stone massage as well as Cupping Massage.

It's amazing to think that stubborn pain that I had been enduring for years could go away so quickly. After years of a mild but annoying lower back ache, and 2 years of chiropractic treatment, Laura was able to cure me 100%, not just a reduction of pain but a complete cure. I recommend that anyone who has chronic back pain see Laura. She can really help you. She uses the Sarno method of understanding muscle tightness and focuses your mind on the possibility of psychology being the root of many stubborn muscle aches. Sometimes it can be hard to believe that pain can be caused by psychological causes but after reading Sarno's book, I have come to believe in how logical this is and how illogical it is to constantly seek treatment that is just a placebo or a maintenance of the pain without solving the root of the pain. I have also enjoyed Laura's massages. I've been enjoying massage most of my life and really find it a great way to relax and kind of sink deeper into my body. Laura is really great and has the touch that transforms. I think a practitioner needs to have that healer's touch to really make massage transcendent. Lastly, Laura has the ability to converse with me and seems to know just what to say about health and spirituality. She has insight and intelligence and an ability to communicate that has really helped me grow. She has been very generous loaning me material like books and handouts on related subjects that have helped shape my thinking about a number of related topics. When you think about life and why we store stress and how we can avoid even allowing stress to get a foot hold, it's important to feel like you have an ally who can help guide you. Laura knows her stuff on many levels and can meet you where you are to help lead you back to health.
