Owners, Lydia and Michael Morton are Experienced Registered Yoga Teachers (ERYT) with Yoga Alliance and established the center in 2006. They offer Yoga Training and Workshops, and are one of the few studios in Louisiana registered with the international professional organization Yoga Alliance. The teaching staff at the center are all certified at the 200 hour training level. They bring a unique approach to teaching and practicing Hatha Yoga to Acadiana.

Services The Lafayette Center for Yoga is the only location in Lafayette dedicated exclusively to the practice of Hatha Yoga, where beginning students, experienced practioners and even teachers will flourish. Scheduled classes are offered at consistent times of day, covering a range of practices from gentle Yin and Slow Flow to higher cardio Ashtanga and Vinyasa practices. These along with Pririvate Yoga Therapy classes are designed to meet the health needs of each individual.
