After reading the reviews here I went to this place about 6 months ago to have my hair colored and cut. That particular time they did a decent job. The color was good, and the cut was okay, not exceptional, but not horrible either.

I decided to go back last weekend to have my hair colored back to my natural color and then highlighted and trimmed. When I walked in they weren't busy and Janet took me back right away. We talked about what I wanted done, and when I told her that I wanted to revert back to my natural color she rudely asked "WHY?! You want to go back to boring brown?!" I was a little shocked but kind of laughed it off and told her that I had been a redhead long enough and wanted to go back to my natural light brown. She shrugged and started showing me colors, I chose one that matched my natural color and she started. At this point another customer came in and she left someone else to do my color, but told me she'd come back to do the highlights and cut. Fine..."We wash it out in 30 minutes okay?" Okay...

Fast forward to AN HOUR later, the girl who did my color did 3 men's haircuts right next to me while the timer she set for my color had gone off a half hour before. This entire time Janet is on the other side of me, arguing with the client she left my hair for.

The girl who did my color finally washes it out and hour and 15 minutes after they put it on. When we get back to the chair I proceed to show this girl a picture of the cut I want, and start to ask her about the highlights. She says "Oh, Janet will do that." She sits me back down at the station and proceeds to take ANOTHER male client while I'm sitting there with soaking wet hair that's matted and not even combed. She simply washed out the color, lead me back to the chair and sat me down and left me there, not bothering to even run a comb through it.

Fast forward ANOTHER 45 minutes - I'm still sitting there with matted, not combed hair that's dripping all over my shoulders. Meanwhile, Janet has colored the girls hair that she left my hair for, and the girl isn't happy. So, she's STILL arguing with her about it.

At that point I finally had enough. I turned to the girl who did my color, who incidently is doing ANOTHER male hair cut right next to me, and asked her if I could have a brush so I can brush out my hair. I told her that I've now been here over 2 hours and I am done. She panics, and says something in Vietnamese to Janet who rushes over and starts talking to me about highlights. Um...no.

I told Janet that I was done, we would not be doing highlights or anything else, I just wanted a hairbrush so that I would at least look presentable when I left. Janet proceeds to look offended and very quickly blow dries my hair. When we get to the register she whispers "I only charge you $20 okay?" When I handed her my card and didn't offer to pay full price she glared at me like she was offended.

The first time I went to this salon I would have recommended them to anyone for color, if not for cuts. However, now...I would not recommend them to anyone, nor would I ever return. I understand being busy, and I am a very patient person. But I sat there while they argued with clients, and took care of people who walked in way after I did, for over 2 HOURS. And after all that, not one "I'm sorry" and when she offered to discount my price and I accepted she acted offended. The color is STILL washing out of my hair a week later. Unacceptable.
