Baaz Hair Studio opened it's doors October 27th, 1987 at 205 South Main Street in Concord. Barbara's vision has always been to have a hair studio with a professional yet relaxing atmosphere where good music and creativity flows...and always, a commitment to quality service.



In 1995, Baaz moved to a larger, completely remodeled space down the road at 259 South Main Street. Then in 2006, Baaz Hair Studio returned to 205 South Main Street expanding the original studio into the back portion of the building. In the summer of 2017, Baaz was remodeled again just in time to celebrate 30 years of business that October.

Barbara brings over 30 years of beauty expertise to her clientele! She enjoys helping each of her clients achieve their best personal look.

Baaz Hair Studio is unique in that every product used and all client's take-home products are free of synthetic ingredients! All products are naturally fragranced with flowers and botanicals. Baaz carries four lines of professional hair care, a beautiful skin care line, and a popular make-up line.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen.

I have been had all the women at one time or another at Baaz as my hairstylist. They take care of me like I am family and always help you make the right decision with your hair type while staying within the hairstyle that you've asked for. I am 46 and have been seeing them from their beginnings at Bogart's to the first location of Baaz and now finally back to the location they have returned to. I consider all them my friends. Barbara is my exclusive hair stylist, now. She is so much more than that though. She is my confidant and always makes me feel so welcome and part of the family. I can't say enough good things about them.

I had a terrible cut and perm, and if you knew my hair a perm is a no no. It was at a salon I didn't know. I looked literally like a poodle I thought I would have to wait it out with a bag over my head for the rest of the year. Baaz actually saved me. I didn't think it could be done. They gave me a beautiful haircut.I have never strayed again. I have not gone to anybody else I would and have done my own hair before I would go to anybody else. .

Now I am no longer 18 and the greys have come in fast and furious along with crazy eyebrows. I will depend on them to keep me brunette till I finally give up and embrace my greys but I will not go gently into that good night as long as I have Baaz to keep me young I will be with them as long as they will take me. With the experience they have amongst all of them. There is nothing they cannot help you with. I have NEVER left unsatisfied and an inexperienced hair stylist can and has given me some real numbers. I have difficult hair and if not cut right It is very bushy and unruly. They are the best in the business. You leave lighter and feeling younger with never a bad hair day and all the advise you can take with you on how to take care of makeup, hair, shampoos, you name it they will answer.any question you may need. I will always be grateful I was sent their way long ago. It may seem like a minor thing in life. But in this crazy fast paced world it is good to know that I can go there and for just a little while I am the most special person in the room. Thanks to all of you for many years of TLC for me and my many issues.
