There are many hair salons in the city of Chicago that provide professional service as well as amenities such as a clean environment and even clean towels!

If you looking for such services.. DON'T GO TO THIS HAIR SALON!!

UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE.
I received hair color services from Vanessa Payne, a transplant from Memphis, Tennessee. She is young, inexperienced, not to mention unlicensed which was unbeknownst to me.

Ms. Payne gave me a color treatment then put bleach on top on my hair which turned it a brassy yellow. When she figured out she had completely botched the treatment because she left the bleach on too long, she left me sitting in the back and got on the telephone to hold a conversation in the front of the salon.

She said she would complete the color treatment by putting a rinse on top of the color... YEAH, NO THANKS!!


DIRTY ENVIRONMENT. DIRTY TOWELS.
The shop itself has broken down stations, with cabinetry falling down which is a huge safety risk. In the 90's it may have been painted white, but in 2015 the paint color is more of a dusty dirty grey.. There were many towels scattered about the salon and even the one Ms. Payne used smelled like mildew.

AGAIN...LOOKING FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE WITH LICENSED STYLISTS??

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.
