At A SHEAR PERFECTION you get your hair done your way! Hair is a passion of mine and I work hard to get your hair done the way you like by giving you a full consult! I'll start your service with an in-depth consultation, listen to your concerns, add my expertise and together well create Shear Perfection! Your hair is as a frame is to a picture; its there to complement your face & enhance your features!

*About Kathy Chandler (Owner/Lead Stylist/Esthetician):

Kathy has been in the beauty industry since 1999. Graduated with Cosmetology License in 2000 from The International Institute of Hair Design here in Raleigh. She has experience in salon service and with on-location special occasion hair styling as well for Weddings, Photo Shoots, Fashion shows and more. In 2003 she decided to start he own business, opening up A Shear Perfection Salon!

Kathy has been published and featured several times: Chapel Hill Magazine, Southern Wedding, Borrowed & Blue, Brown Sparrow, Black Brides, 2 Wedding Porch Venue Promo Video's, Urbaniak Fashion show & Luncheon, Party Designs By Jax Blog and The Big Fake Wedding. She is in the process of being published in PARTYSLATE as well. She stays up on the latest in the industry continuing to educate her self in the beauty and fashion industry. In 2010 she became interested in skin care and started taking aesthetics classes through The Salon and Spa Training Institute. There she got more experienced with facials,eyelash application and got her microdermabrasion certification. In 2012 she started getting training in makeup artistry. Kathy is skilled in cut, coloring and styling hair for all ethnicities. She has done traditional American and traditional Indian weddings, as well as other cultures.

She made sure every single question I had was answered, and is always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Kathy is the most friendly, welcoming stylist I've ever dealt with. She is so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with my hair after visiting her shop. All my questions were answered, and I feel great about my hair and will def be back to see Kathy Chandler again!!!!!
