Wow I don’t know where to begin on what an utterly TERRIBLE place this is. I was new to the area I stopped in needing a trim and possibly color because it looked nice outside. Got inside and it was still nice so I thought I’d give the trim and color a shot. I first talked to one girl named Jill who said she wouldn’t have time to do my trim and color and then got passed to a girl named Brandy. Well my hair is dark brown from coloring it in the passed my roots were growing and are light brown/dark blonde. I said I wanted my hair JUST LIKE MY ROOTS. I also specified that ANY red in my hair I wanted out. They assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. So we start. WHAT A MISTAKE. After being there for four hours Brandy finishes my color. I started CRYING. It was a nightmare. My roots turned GOLD, my brown turned red and black. I told them they had to fix it. So a team ‘gets together’ to fix it. They start ROUND TWO. My hair is LONG. I try and keep it healthy and I do a good job, but TWO dye jobs in four hours? This DID NOT make me feel good. So they start. Again. They get finished and one of my only requirements (don’t make my hair red, get it out) they couldn’t come through on. Not to mention that I told the girl (Brandy) during round one that I was THINKING about getting long layers around my face sort of like Jennifer Aniston’s circa 1999…starting right around her chin going softly down her face. I said THINKING. When she was trimming my hair she came around to the front of my face and chopped. Right at my chin. When I DID NOT give her the ok. I was pissed. She then had to finish. That was a side note though. So after round two I wasn’t happy at all. No manager was there though. So I thought I would do the right thing, pay (the $156!!!), go home and give it an honest shot and see if it was the same outside. It was. So, I called to see when the manager or owner was there and they said she would be in in the morning. So I went back in the morning to get my money back because surely the owner CHERI would understand right? Wrong. She refused to give me my money. She claimed that the color they were trying to take me to would take several visits which is why it came out wrong. Well if that was the case WHY WOULD THEY TELL ME THEY COULD DO IT? Oh right, THEY LIED. So she tried justifying their mistakes. Even with my hair wrong and me BAWLING so bad she just got pissed and walked off. While I stood behind crying. She eventually came back and said all she would do is dye it again. Wow. I was broke. I couldn’t afford to go anywhere else. So I said ok. Three dye jobs in 24 hours. Oh and the shirt I was wearing the day before…Brandy got dye all over the back of it. Apparently Cheri thought that was my fault too. She wouldn’t reimburse me. She said at the end of the visit that I would have to leave the tank top (from Hollister) with her and she would go down there get a price quote and then get me a gift card. She wouldn’t even give me the money. For a $15 tank top. I didn’t think her competency was very high and that I would ever get the gift card so I didn’t leave it with her. So back to the third dye job…It came out mostly without red. Except that it was WAY darker than I told them I wanted. Oh course they didn’t care and said it wasn’t that dark. Oh, and one last thing. Cheri told me she was there the first day I was there and she overheard what Jill and Brandy told me about my hair. Well…I didn’t see her, but I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt. Until I heard her having an insurance talk with another client and said she was out of the salon all day (on the first day I was there) dealing with her insurance stuff. When I called her out on it she claimed she came in that morning and then left. Also as I called her out I watched her and her co-worker that I suspect she plotted a story with before I came exchange an extremely suspicious look. So I know without a shadow of a doubt that she lied to me about being there among other things. So I left for a second day squalling with them not giving a crap, out $156, a ruined tank top, but above all ruined dry coarse dark hair. What a TERRIBLE experience. Nice to know humanity has sunk even lower and that their really are more terrible, nasty, lying, greedy people than I thought out there. So PLEASE if you care about your hair don’t go to this place.
