My microbraids are cute, bowever, the price of $220 was way more expensive than any other shop. I read the positive reviews and bit the bullet and made the appointment. A higher price does NOT mean a higher quality of work.They were 45 minutes late to open the shop, and I had to call THEM to find out where they were. The entire time my hair was being braided, the two stylists talked to each other in another language and never said a word to me After my hair was done, the braids were so tight that my head was sore for 6 days, and I had itchy bumps around my hairline for 10 days. I had not had any scalp issues prior to the braids, nor had I had the bumps when I had my hair braided in the past. I did notice that the other two women I saw having their hair braided at the shop had receding hairlines. I am concerned about traction alopecia due to the tightness of the braids. I would rate the look of the braids a 4, the cutomer service a 1 and the value a 1.
